    • hey jason, there are 2 types of golden raintrees planted as commercial and city plantings: Koelreuteria paniculata, which has paper-bag brown seed pods and the one I have, which came from Disney World, Koelreuteria bipinnata, with copper colored seed pods. They are both natives of China. It is really a pretty tree. Lynn
